4 proven ways to grow your blog

Do you want to see your blog grow? Do you wonder how people have thousands and millions of reads on their articles daily? Do you want to grow blogging into a business?

Well, you’re at the right place then. Today I’m going to be talking about some proven ways to grow your blog.

  • Be regular

Persistence is key. Be it blogging or any other business or activity, to grow in it or to make it successful you need to be persistent. Take the example of fitness. A person who works out to keep his body in shape goes to the gym every single day. This is because he knows, to get that body he needs to work out regularly. Blogging is quite similar, you need to be writing daily, weekly or maybe twice or thrice a week, whatever suits your schedule. Just remember to be persistent.

  • Guest blogging

Have you heard about guest blogging? Well, if you’re serious about blogging then you must have. Guest blog is an article or blog that you post on somebody else’s site, with their permit of course. If you’re wondering how this helps your blog, here’s how. You get a link back to your site; in the end of the post. This link leads readers to your site and most of them end up becoming your all time readers. Some huge sites like thewritelifemakealivingwritinglisteverse pay their guest bloggers.

  • Social media

If you’re really into blogging and looking forward to making a career out of this, then you sure should not be shy about it. Promote your blogging site. Post about it on your social media platforms like twitter, facebook, instagram etc.

  • Creating your online presence

What do I mean by creating an online presence? Aren’t you already online all day, reading blogs, articles, surfing the web? Yes you’re reading those blogs and articles but no one knows you are. When you like something about an article, leave a comment. Let the writer know what you think about it. This won’t just make the writer aware of your presence; but also the readers who comment after you will know about you. These comments also help the writers know what their audiences like about their blogs, be a good reader as well.

Other general tips that I personally follow are some basic rules like keeping it short and informative. Don’t bore your readers or waste their time.
